1. Q: How did you experience the book? It's not always helpful to talk about whether or not you liked the book, but rather how you felt as you were reading it? Were you pulled effortlessly into the book...or did you have difficulty getting into it? Why?
A: I found that the book was very graphic and true. I realized that they told everything truthfully and did not take anything out of the book. The book was written exactly how he experienced it. I found that it was that it was easy to get into the book because of how truthful everything was.
2. Q: Were you happy about your book choice? Why or why not?
A: I think I could have possible picked a happier book because this one was kind of depressing, but over all I was happy with my choice.
3. Q: Which place discussed in the book did you find the most intriguing? Why do you think that was the case?
A: I found that the most intriguing part of the book was when they described all of the things that the rebels did to the people that they caught. I was amazed by what they did to people.
4. Q: What central ideas might the author be exploring- the novel's themes? Consider ideas about the nature of love, the requirements of goodness, the meaning of justice, the burden of the past...basic human issues that are at stake in the book.
A: Since he was taken from his family at 12 years old he doe snot have a strong grasp on what love is and what is good and just. He has been surrounded by war for his whole life so he has no idea on what is good or bad.
5. Q: What do you feel you learned from this project? Please consider the book, the technology involved with producing the project, or any other aspect regarding the project.
A: I have learned that we should not take living in a free country for granted. We should thank God every day because of the country we live in and because we are not constantly surrounded by war. I also learned how to blog.

A: The most enjoyable part of the project for me would have to be finishing, it is a very big relief.
